  • DBA Cleaning has a 3-hour minimum charge on all standard domestic cleans.

  • Cleaning products and cleaning tools can be requested upon request, however they are not included in standard cleans.

  • Cleaning inside the fridge and oven is essential, however, we do understand that not all homes require this service as standard. Therefore, we offer these services as ad-ons and we are more than happy to clean your oven and fridge.


  • Standard cleaning typically refers to routine cleaning tasks that maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of a space. This can vary slightly depending on the environment (e.g., home, office, commercial space), but generally includes:


    1. Dusting: 

    •  Removing dust from surfaces such as furniture, shelves, and electronics.

    2. Vacuuming: 

    • Cleaning carpets, rugs, and sometimes upholstered furniture.

    3. Sweeping and Mopping: 

    • Cleaning hard floors, such as tile, hardwood, or linoleum.

    4. Wiping Surfaces: 

    • Cleaning countertops, tables, desks, and other flat surfaces.

    5. Cleaning Bathrooms: 

    • Scrubbing toilets, sinks, bathtubs/showers, and mirrors.

    6. Kitchen Cleaning: 

    • Wiping down appliances, cleaning the sink, and sometimes organizing and wiping down the inside of the refrigerator.

    7. Emptying Trash: 

    • Removing trash from bins and replacing liners.

    8. Tidying Up:

    •  Organizing and decluttering spaces as needed.

    9. Window Cleaning: 

    • Cleaning windows, window sills, and sometimes blinds.

    Standard cleaning generally focuses on the most frequently used areas and high-touch surfaces, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment.

    Kitchen

    • Clean and polish all cupboards and drawers, remove stains, marks and dirt

    • Clean the fridge and freezer( the freezer must be switched off and defrosted one day before the cleaning )

    • Clean the microwave inside and out, remove the stains and marks

    • Clean the cooker

    • Clean the windows inside

    • Clean and wash all tops and surfaces

    • Clean and wash the sink, remove limescale

    • Clean sink taps, remove limescale and polish

    • Degrease, clean and polish wall tiles

    • Wash the washing machine, dishwasher, clean soap drawers and filters if accessible

    • Clean exterior of all appliances-kettle, toaster, microwave etc.

    • Clean and wipe the door

    • Dust lampshade and light switches

    • Clean bins inside and out, change the bin bag

    • Vacuum and mop the floor

    Bathroom/Toilet

    • Scrub, clean and disinfect toilet

    • Clean and disinfect toilet seat, toilet bowl inside and out,  polish where necessary

    • Clean and polish the bathtub, polish the taps

    • Clean and de-scale the shower cabin

    • Clean, wash and de-scale tiles and between the tiles

    • Clean, wash and polish all tops and surfaces

    • Clean the cabinets inside and out

    • Clean and wash the sink, polish the taps

    • Clean and dust the fan

    • Clean and wipe the door

    • Wipe all light and socket fittings

    • Vacuum and wash the floor

    Bedrooms

    • Dust and polish all tops and surfaces

    • Wipe wardrobes and drawers outside, if required, could be done inside( extra time needed)

    • Wipe damp all doors, remove finger marks from all walls

    • Make the bed, change sheets, if required

     

    Living/Dining Room

    • Dust and polish all furniture

    • Dust chairs, lampshades, picture frames

    • Clean and polish mirrors and glass surfaces

    • Clean and damp-wipe doors and the door frames

    • Clean and wipe skirting boards

    • Wipe window sills

    • Move furniture (if possible), vacuum underneath and behind
